BioName: Igarashi Ganta
Date of Birth: March 18th, 2016 - in his world, it's 2030, so he's 14. *dates not official, but I think reasonably close.
Appearance: Small for his age and thin, Ganta has messy black hair and dark gray eyes. There's nothing that particularly stands out about him, aside from his height. He's physically weak, having never had a reason to become strong, and his fingertips may show signs of scarring.
Personality: In most ways, Ganta is a pretty normal fourteen year old. He's interested in girls but has no idea how this 'dating' thing works, isn't too serious, and isn't too brave. He has a bit of a short temper, but is generally a good-hearted person. He has good morals, but is a bit submissive and a follower, and can be influenced or bullied into doing something he doesn't want fairly easily; the type to just submit to authority. He can stand up for himself when he must, though, especially if other people are involved. Ganta can be insensitive, but more because he doesn't think than because he doesn't care. He's known to be very tenacious - Shiro in canon goes so far as to say that it's his only good point. However, prison has affected him - as did his trial and treatment in newspapers and television before that - and he finds it a little overwhelming here, and tends to react nervously to new things.
Speech: Ganta speaks Japanese as a first language. As he's farther in the future, I'm assuming that Japan's educational/English system has been improved and that between that and television/other media, his English is fairly good. He's passably bilingual, but can be assumed to speak in a very thick accent, and can't read English very well at all.
Powers: Recently, Ganta was "shot" by a figure known to him only as the Red Man. This either gave him or awakened in him the power to manipulate his blood. So long as he's bleeding, he can form and shape his blood, or - his favored method - shoot it from his fingers like a bullet. It's been dubbed the "Ganta Gun," to his embarrassment. While more powerful than any normal bullet (blood weapons can cut through thick metal), it's limited because every shot Ganta takes depletes his own blood. Small and not having a lot of blood to begin with, blood loss, fainting, and even death are very possible.
Opinion of Discedo: Better than prison, so he'll be happy to stay here forever.
